Until they are 6 years of age children are given one free lift ticket per day at the Flachau cable cars ticket office.

Children from 6 years of age need an ordinary lift ticket for Ski Amadé. The lift ticket is not included in the ski school price.

Ski course equipment tips

  • Warm clothes, gloves
  • Ski goggles or sun glasses
  • Suncream
  • Helmet with a thin cap worn underneath

Grouping

Pupils are allocated to courses organised by age-group by discussion or by showing their previous knowledge or skiing ability in a test run. If their skiing ability allows, your children may participate in the same group.
Meeting point: 30-45 minutes before course start on the practice slope

Especially after a year's break many children may need a little time to get back into the swing. Therefore the groups may be changed in the first two days.
A tip from us: Practise skiing on the Saturday afternoon or the day of arrival, in order to be fit for allocation to a course.
